ScamExposed offers independent, educational scam-awareness guidance. How it works

Editorial Policy

ScamExposed aims to publish practical consumer education that is careful, sourced where appropriate and clear about what it cannot verify.

Purpose and audience

ScamExposed publishes educational content to help people recognise common scam patterns, use safer verification habits and find relevant official support. It is not a law-enforcement agency, regulator, financial provider, credit-reporting service or legal adviser.

How we approach claims

We avoid stating that an identifiable person, business, website or account is fraudulent unless a claim can be supported by a reliable source and is appropriate to publish. Educational guidance uses cautious language such as potential risk indicators, suspicious characteristics and steps to verify independently.

Sources and updates

Country-specific recovery and reporting guidance should link to current official government, regulator, police, cyber-security or consumer-protection sources. Information can change, so readers should confirm procedures directly with the relevant organisation. Content is updated when material guidance, links or policies change.

Commercial independence

Any future paid checker access is described separately from editorial guidance. We do not sell a result as a guarantee of safety or legitimacy.
