Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ScamExposed handles personal information when you use scamexposed.com, contact us, or use the ScamExposed checker hosted at app.scamexposed.com. ScamExposed is an independent educational website. For privacy questions, contact admin@scamexposed.com.

Information we collect

When the checker is available, we may collect an email address and, if you choose to provide it, a name before your first check. We may also process the information you submit for a check, such as a phone number, email address, website link or message text. We collect ordinary technical information needed to operate and secure the site and checker, such as device, browser, IP-address, cookie and usage information.

How we use information

Payments

Payments for checker credits or subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy and terms. We may receive limited payment and subscription status information needed to provide the service, handle support and maintain accounting records.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember service-related choices and help protect against misuse. Where required, we ask for consent before placing non-essential cookies. You can manage cookies through our consent controls and your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality.

Sharing and international transfers

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the checker, website, email delivery, hosting and payments, including Stripe where you choose to pay. These providers may process information outside your country. We take reasonable steps to use appropriate contractual, technical and organisational safeguards where required.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution needs. No internet service is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the link in the message. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction on certain personal information, or to object to particular processing. To make a request, email admin@scamexposed.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Children and changes

ScamExposed is not intended for children who cannot lawfully consent to data processing in their location. We may update this Privacy Policy as the service evolves; the updated version will be posted here with a revised date.
